CONtester™ unit
CONtester™ is a measuring unit to test the quality of contacts, relays and switches, e.g. for the automotive industry
The components to be tested are put under mechanical or thermal stress and their resistor values are monitored and logged. The current, second-generation version of CONtester™ features the latest state-of-the-art electronic components, and allows for 19 measurement locations. Measuring currents are adjustable; the threshold resistance for considering an interruption as such is user-defined.

CONtester™ 1G
The first generation of the CONtester™ family was launched in 1998.
Software
CONtester™ consists of two integrated applications: the control software CONtester.exe and the analysis tool Viewer.exe. The software is available in English, German, and Dutch.
CONtester.exe – Control & Measurement
- Control measuring hardware via an intuitive graphical user interface
- Create disturbance measurement tests, including grouping of measurement cards
- Configure test parameters and define logging stop conditions
- Monitor active tests in real time via software interface and hardware LED indicators
- Use the integrated event viewer for detailed supervision
- Customize and personalize log files
Data flows are stored per group in separate log files, including measurements such as disturbances, resistance, temperature, and frequency. The system supports simultaneous measurement and logging of multiple tests.
